Hey there! My name is Susan and I am glad you stopped by. I never imagined myself a blogger, but after opening my Etsy Shop, it seemed like the obvious next step. I live with my husband and two fur kids (hence the cute pic!) in North Carolina.

I have lived in North Carolina my whole life. Sweet tea, persimmon pudding, and weird weather are what makes it fun to be here. Mountains or beaches are within driving distance, it can be hot/cold/snowing/raining all on the same day. What more could you ask for?

I love cooking and baking. Baking more than cooking, but you will hopefully find the recipes here as trusty as I do. My associate degree in Culinary Arts has proven useful and I feel like I am a better home cook as a result. Baking cookies can be a great stress reliever, or is it eating them? I’ll let you know! 🙂

DIY, sewing, and knitting are my favorite hobbies and resulted my opening an Etsy Shop. I hope to pass along tips, advice, and how-to’s.

Besides fabric, yarn, and the newest cooking gadget, beauty products are a weak spot. I love Ulta and fortunately for me, there is one near by. Here, you will find honest opinions of whatever beauty elixir or lipgloss has my current attention.
